Recombinant enzyme prepared from insect cells infected with baculovirus containing human FMO5 cDNAs

FMO5 appears to be the only FMO isoform expressed in both adult and fetal human liver. FMO5 has poor catalytic activity towards the majority of known FMO substrates. Little is known about the substrate specificity of this enzyme.
